Rental Policies
Credit Card Payments - We accept all major credit cards such as American Express, Dinners Club,
Discover, Master Card and Visa. We also accept Master Card/Visa debit cards. The name on the credit
card must match with the drivers’ license and primary renter must agree to sign a Personal Guarantee on
behalf of the additional renter(s). We may process the credit card as “sale” or hold an “authorization” for the
amount $250.00 or estimated amount of the rental plus a 10% whichever is greater. We also accept
miniature key tag style credit cards and prepaid (EBT) Visa/Master Credit Cards are accepted as form
of a payment at the time of rental. Prepaid Visa/Master Card and/or cash are accepted as a form of
payment when returning the vehicle.
Debit Cards - Debit Visa/Master Cards are accepted as a form of payment when renting or returning a
vehicle. When renting, we may process debit card as a “sale” or hold an “authorization” for the amount of
$200.00 or estimated amount of the rental plus a 10% whichever is greater. The unused funds will be
refunded back to the credit card immediately upon return of the vehicle. However, the financial institution
may take up to fourteen (14) business days to show funds in your account.
Cash/Check Deposit Requirements - Cash/Check deposit rentals are available to customers residing
within Los Angeles/Orange Counties only. The renter must provide the following documents to the rental
representative (1) Home/cell phone bill and/or utility bill (gas, electric, water) current within past four
weeks. The address on the bill must match with the drivers’ license and must be in good standing. No
past due or disconnection notices and P.O.. Boxes addresses are accepted or (2) Current paycheck stub
within last two weeks with Renter’s name appearing on the check and employer’s address, phone number
to verify employment or (3) Name, phone number and address of a personal reference. (The rental
representative will make copies of the documents and attached them to the rental agreement. A minimum
deposit of $300.00 estimated amount of rental whichever is greater will be taken when aforementioned
requirements are met. .
Optional Coverage/Insurances - are not required to rent a vehicle. However, protection
insurance/coverage to protect against 3rd parties claim, medical injuries and or waiver to cover for
damages to the rental vehicle is available. Please call our office to obtain additional information at 866-
674-6227 or inquire at the rental counter when coming into rent a vehicle. The complete detailed
summaries are available at the rental counter.
Rental requirements -1-Minimum age requirement for renters and additional driver is 21. Renters and/or
additional drivers over the age of 21 and under the age of 25 are subject to an underage charge of $10.00
per day. 2-Rental rates are bases on 150 miles free per day, unlimited miles rates are available at $5
additional per day or $35 additional per week. 3- Rental days are based on a 24 hour rental period. If
vehicle is kept longer than the return due date and time on the rental agreement (contract) renter will be
charged a late fee of $15 per hour until the daily maximum rate is met. All insurance/coverage will be
prorated until the daily maximum rental rate is reached. 4-Rental agreement (contract) can not be
assigned longer than a 28-day period (for cash/check deposit rental period is only 7-days). If vehicle is
needed longer than aforementioned period, renter must go to the rental location and renew the rental
agreement (contract). 5-All renters and/or drivers are required to provide at the start of the rental period a) a
valid drivers’ license with current street address, no P.O.. Box b) major credit card and/or meet the
requirements for cash/check deposit and/or debit credit cards c) provide a current phone number and/or
cell number d) provide current employment information e) primary renter must agree and sign a personal
guarantee for all additional drivers f) an additional driver charge of $6.00 per day per additional driver fee
applies to all rentals. Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel as it was rented. If vehicle does not
return with the same fuel there will be a $25 refueling fee in addition to a per gallon fee at the current pump
price for unleaded fuel. Vehicle must only travel to a specific destination as described on the Waiver.
Reservations - Go Easy Rent A Car does not charge a cancellation fee, but requests that as a courtesy to
other customers of Go Easy Rent A Car, if a change of plans happen, Go Easy Rent A Car request a call to
our office be made to cancel such reservation. A $7.00 per day fee is charges for a child seat. If the seat is
not returned in the same condition less wear and tear, renter will be charged a cleaning fee. If a seat is not
returned or missing when vehicle is returned renter will be charges the cost of the seat any replacement
and/or all replacement expense. California law requires children six years of age or less than 60 lbs in
weight to be in a child restraint device.
